FENDER GUITAR POLISH

FENDER GUITAR POLISH

20 RON (TVA 24% inclus)
I've always been a little bit obsessive about the guitars I've owned during my career. I would guess that over the years I've owned close to 200 guitars, and I've always considered each one as having a separate and distinct "personality". Since I've given each of my guitars a human quality (at least in my mind), I've always taken good care of them. Part of this care involves protecting the finish and enhancing the beauty of the gorgeously figured woods used in the construction of most of my guitars. I've used many different guitar polishes over the years, but I've found that Fender Guitar Polish does the job just as well as any of them.

When I first started using Fender Guitar Polish many years ago, it came in a bottle and was in a "lotion" form. All you did was remove the cap, pour it on a soft cloth, and rub it onto the finish of your guitar. Today's version of Fender Guitar Polish comes in a 3 1/2 or 4 ounce spray bottle with a pump applicator that's touted as being environmentally friendly. With this version of Fender Guitar Polish, just spray the product on a soft cloth and apply it to the finish of your guitar. It's very easy to apply, and all you have to do is rub the polish onto the wood of your guitar until it's dry. If you apply the polish properly and rub it in thoroughly, the surface of your guitar will not be sticky and attract dust and dirt.

When you apply Fender Guitar Polish, be sure to take care to avoid any contact with the hardware of your guitar. It's been my experience that many guitar polishes will "cloud" chrome, nickel or gold hardware, creating a haze that looks pretty unattractive. I don't know if this is the case with Fender Guitar Polish, because I'm really careful not to get any of the product on the pickups or other hardware of my guitars. Err on the side of caution--hazy-looking hardware looks pretty ugly and will affect the value of the guitar that you're trying to preserve.

If you apply Fender Guitar Polish properly and thoroughly rub it in, it will provide excellent protection for the finish of your guitar. The finish of most guitars will ultimately "check" with age, but this polish should extend the life of the finish for a good long time. I think that you'll find that if you use this polish regularly, you'll notice that the beautiful figuring of the woods used in the construction of your guitar will be enhanced. Some of my acoustic guitars seem to actually glow from repeated use of this polish, because the subtle darks and lights of the delicate figuring seem to get a little more contrasted.

Fender Guitar Polish is an excellent product to use to protect your guitar, extend the life of the finish, and enhance the beauty of the woods used in its construction. It's really a small price to pay to preserve your guitar, and if you sell and trade guitars like I do, its value will be increased also.
